The initiative of the Tuscan partners of Silvateam’s metal-free tanning project has allowed the brands to appreciate the quality and variety of leathers available today thanks to the Ecotan patent-pending technology.

Openhouse Ecotan is an initiative that stems from the desire of some tanneries partner of the Ecotan project to showcase the collections obtained thanks to the innovative and revolutionary tanning system that introduces the bio-circular concept into the leather world.

Last April, guests of the beautiful showroom made available by Hashtag Florence, in Santa Croce sull’Arno (Italy), four Tuscan tanneries presented their Ecotan collections promoting the innovative tanning system applied to different types of raw materials for the realisation of a wide range of items (footwear, bags, belts, leather goods, and clothing). This has allowed the style offices of luxury brands to view and touch the quality of the materials with their own hands, being able to choose from a wide variety of different look & feel, thicknesses, finishes, colours and styles.
